Drying Oven

Laboratory oven with temperature control for determination of moisture content of soils and aggregates in accordance with IRAM and ASTM standards. Capacity for multiple simultaneous samples with adjustable temperature between 105 °C and 110 °C.

High-precision analytical and semi-analytical balances for mass determination in geotechnical laboratory tests. Resolution of 0.01 g and 0.1 g, periodically calibrated and verified in accordance with current metrological standards.

Complete set of stainless steel wire mesh sieves conforming to ASTM E11 and IRAM standards for granulometric analysis of soils and aggregates. Includes sieves from 75 mm to 0.075 mm (No. 200) with collecting pan and lid.

Mechanical and electronic apparatus for determination of the liquid limit of cohesive soils using the Casagrande method in accordance with IRAM 10501 and ASTM D4318. Enables soil classification and evaluation of plastic behaviour.

Proctor Compaction Equipment (Standard and Modified)

Cylindrical moulds, hammers and auxiliary equipment for Standard (IRAM 10509) and Modified (IRAM 10513) Proctor compaction tests. Used to determine maximum dry density and optimum moisture content for quality control of embankments and subgrades.

Motorised load frame for laboratory CBR and soil resistance index tests under standardised mould conditions. Equipped with a proving ring or digital load cell, dial gauge and penetration piston in accordance with IRAM 10579 and ASTM D1883.

Oedometer for Consolidation Testing

One-dimensional consolidation apparatus (oedometer) for determination of compressibility and consolidation parameters of saturated clayey soils. Used to obtain the compression index, overconsolidation ratio and primary consolidation coefficient.

Motorised direct shear apparatus for determination of shear strength parameters (cohesion and internal friction angle) of soils and granular materials. Enables testing of samples under different normal loads and displacement rates.

Triaxial Cells

Complete triaxial testing system with pressure chamber, hydraulic control panel and pore pressure measurement system for CU, CD and UU tests on cohesive and non-cohesive soils. Provides effective and total shear strength parameters of the soil.
